This fast-track project involved the expansion of one of New York’s most prestigious private schools. The complex design
required reinforcing of an existing structure and erection of an overbuild during the school year. Sunrise was retained as
the contractor’s consultant to develop the logistics plans and create the baseline schedule. Due to the complexities of
operating the school during construction, Sunrise spearheaded the study of various scenarios that would allow the
contractor to accelerate the schedule. We managed to reduce the total project duration by 1 year by finding creative
ways for our client to sequence work.
